Field trips are a special time for every class. At Liberty Science Center, we want teachers and students to have an amazing day filled with learning, inspiration, adventure and fun.There is no other place where you can bring your class to:

Scavenger Hunts
Scavenger Hunts are a great way to create excitement among your students as they explore Liberty Science Center's exhibition floors. We currently have two versions: Ages 6-9 and Ages 10-15. Be sure to reward your students for a job well done by awarding them with the official Scientist for the Day Certificate.
Traveling Science
Liberty Science will bring science directly to you and your students through our Traveling Science Programs, either to large audiences or individual classes! All are designed to engage, excite and educate students while covering a wide range of scientific topics. We will travel anywhere within a 125-mile radius of our home in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Classroom Workshops
For more in-depth learning and plenty of individual attention and participation, our Classroom Workshops are the way to go. Each workshop is 45 minutes long and can be presented up to four times for 30 students per session.
Assemblies
Give your students an energizing break from routine learning with a high-octane assembly from Liberty Science Center. Assemblies are 45-60 minutes in length, can accommodate up to 300 students at a time and cover a wide range of topics.
Electronic Field Trips
Let Liberty Science Center's dynamic instructors become your partners in an exploration of exciting science concepts -- from the convenience of your own facility! Electronic Field Trips (EFTs) are interactive lessons delivered directly to your students at school via videoconferencing. They are broadcast live from our exhibition floors or our new laboratory setting in the Jennifer A. Chalsty Center for Science Learning and Teaching. Our science educators will help your students explore a range of dynamic cross-curricular themes.
